San Stefanos news and views / So long for now...
« on: April 07, 2014, 04:38:45 PM »
Hi all.

As has been previously mentioned on the forum, I will not be in San Stefanos this summer. I returned to Wales back at the end of October and will be staying here for the foreseeable future due to family health issues. It was a big decision for me not to return this year but home is where I need to be right now. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 summers as a San Stefano Travel girl and will always consider the village as my second home.
I met some great characters there over the years, both locals and visitors alike and have been blessed with memories that will keep me smiling well into old age!!
I hope you all enjoy your summer holidays this year, I'm not ashamed to say that I will be green with envy at the thought of you lazing on my beach!!
So long folks, it has been a pleasure.

Cerys x

San Stefanos news and views / Re: George........
« on: November 18, 2013, 06:36:51 PM »
We are all deeply saddened by Georges passing, he was a vibrant character among our community, a friend to everyone, and will be sorely missed. As mentioned previously he was featured as a San Stefanos Addict in this years issue of Sun, Sea &...San Stef where he gave an insight into his personal experiences of San Stefanos. If anyone would like to read the article, I have included the link below.

One is located next to the San Stefano Travel office outside the Crystal Daisy gift shop and the other is in the foyer of the Thomas Bay Hotel.

Where to stay / Re: Romanza Hotel
« on: July 10, 2013, 09:11:29 PM »
This topic seems to be turning sour and no one wants to see anyone leave the forum. I see that both sides of the coin have been discussed and unless you wish to post a consrtuctive comment related to the topic, I would ask that forum rivalries be left at the door.

You could also hire a small boat and see Cape Drastis and Canal D'Amour from that perspective, this also allows the opportunity to drop anchor and stop for a swim. Here is the link to the San Stefano Travel website where you will find full information about boat hire including pictures of each of the boats.

San Stefanos news and views / Re: Payments by card
« on: June 11, 2013, 03:17:21 PM »
There are 2 cash machines in San Stefanos, one next to the San Stefano Travel office outside the Crystal Daisy gift shop and the other outside the Thomas Bay Hotel. Both are re-filled regularly. With regards to paying for items by card, many establishments accept card payments, however its always better to ask first.
Kind regards
Cerys.

Calm down folks! No reply was ever issued to anon0513 or to anyone else for that matter from San Stefano Travel confirming this rumour and it would seem that these stories are no more than that, just rumours.
