Here again, roasting hot, and really busy in the village and beach, never seen so many cars parked there every day. Beer’s roughly £ 5 cocktails £8, food we have had was real good value, tonight heading our favourite, Olympia. Tomorrow, hope to hire a boat, a take a trip around the coast to Paleo.

Dining room table has been full of all things holiday related since Monday ready for packing today. Been working all week making sure the garden is in the best condition before we go away and cleaning the house (as a bloke I don't get the second bit but its a discussion I've never won). :)

Can't wait. As my wife said.......counting the sleeps.

Have a fabulous trip TB, how long you staying?.

If anyone on here is going to Manthos, maybe ask staff member if they know who to contact to fix. I mailed the support people, but no reply.

New to us is a snack bar between LP and Peli and Maria’s, serving burgers, coffee etc, looked very nice indeed.

Where to stay / Re: Olympia Apartments

Just back home after spending a week in these wonderful apartments. Cleaned daily, lovely comfortable beds, plenty hanging space for clothes in each room, safety box, balcony with comfy chairs, and a side sea view. Kitchen all you need, a welcome pack in fridge, beer, wine, milk, orange juice and cola. Toilet is spotless, with rain shower, towels, and toilet paper included. The hosts are so helpful too, restaurant and pool onsite, definitely return.

Oh that holiday went quick Radarman, pity the weather not so good but hope you still enjoyed the village. Safe journey home until your next visit.

Back hopefully in September lass, hope you have an amazing time in LP. The menu is very much the same as it was, and Aris gives everyone a warm welcome.

Carl, there are two two bed apartments above the restaurant, one three bedroom villa, and one one bed apartment above the villa. Spacious, spotless, balconies with mozzie screens, and superb hosts too.

A welcome break from the wind today, beach was busier too. Off out soon for dinner wearing shorts for the first time.

Really wild weather today, wind is so strong and gusting at 40 mph, not pleasant for anyone here. Had a wander around last night, good to report places are busier, many restaurants are looking like more guests, and owners are smiling more too. Off out to Yannis tonight, hopefully find shelter from this wind.

The village is very quiet, everywhere open for business, but most place owners are experiencing small numbers. Last night, the busiest place we saw was Spetseriko, across from LP, with around 20 folks, the weather last night was heavy rain, and chilly. Today, we are having breakfast in Barras, then back to the loungers to pray for some sun. If I can help anyone with any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them.

Popped in this morning, pool area completely revamped, new walls, shrubs removed, new loungers with mattresses, little bit still to do around pool edges, but looking superb, oh a new planters being placed around the area. Mentioned the webcam, storm damage is the cause, but made the guy aware of how much we miss the view at home lol, fingers crossed it gets fixed soon.
