I thank you Sir. I wonder if that person who wanted to be on my contact list that I had never heard of (....@hotmail.com) came from the Arillas site that I was looking at about the road damage? Good job I deleted the message then.

Dear Friends,

Please don't panic and Don't create panic either.
If you carefully read the topic on the Arillas website (http://www.arillas.com/page/option,com_smf/Itemid,165/topic,5533.msg77904/lang,en#new)  you will understand that it has nothing to do with the arillas site at all but it's someone's personal experience about his private email account.

However,  The whole thing is a HOAX
See..http://www.snopes.com/computer/internet/hackermail.asp

and .... http://www.sophos.com/blogs/gc/g/2009/11/18/simon-ashton-hacker-hoax-spreading-email/

The forum Of Arillas and San Stefanos are using the same software therefor they are both as reliable as they can be .

Regards,

Dimitris

Thanks Dimitris, I have been away all week, but I would have advised the same.
I always check out if a Hoax as 99% of this type are.
Just Google it!
Someone gets pleasure in making people send loads of emails warning about a person or other.
The reality is that it is very unlikely.

Why write a virus to send to everyone in your mailbox - if you can get the email owner to do it for you!!
( to warn them etc).

The trouble is - if a person stopped you in the street and said do this - you would say get lost -
if someone writes it down - people believe it!! - fact of life I am afraid!!
