Title: Who will you See?
Post by: don on February 22, 2009, 03:10:47 AM
Just as a thought..... Really to see who really reads these posts..... Who do you know will be there the same time as you? Who have you met before? If you are really brave..... Who would you like to meet? .........................Obviously from this site!

Well - we will meet you - we saw the other Tony-Bob the builder last year - and we have met simply lots and lots of people we have met before over the years.

Who would I like to meet - hhhmmmmmmm!! - (besides the Jules & Sue Gang), - picture this - - - -

A hot female who will approach me on the beach, ignore my wife next to me,
looking for company and a drink, and slowly lick my arm and up to my ear -

you just can't get rid of the San Stefanos stray beach dogs - can you???

We will see Jules & Roy,  Just wiping a tear from my eye as we will not see Don and Sandra. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I'm sure we will see familiar faces I know some of Glenn's regulars are going at the same time.

Does anyone know if Steve and Judith are going this year ?
Like Sue says we will see Sue and John for a couple of days at the start of our holiday. Not sure who else.

We always look forward to seeing Glen & Maria - we always try to stop off there on the way back from the beach,
for a glass of his hot chocolate - or a glass of chilled wine - or a nice beer!!

Who will you see? Now that is a good question. As Sue and Jules know I'm not the most safety conscious person when it comes to the old spectacles! As they can testify, I won't see anyone! Bump into them .... Yes..... most definitely!

True, you look like the North English version of Stevie Wonder in your Forum Picture!!!
It's about time you realised you need the white stick and maybe a stray corfu dog as a guide dog -
it'll always take you into to the next bar as they hunt for food!!!

Why do these "optical" companies sponsor football officials who still can't see overpaid hams diving all over the place? Go to one of them? Oooh! No!

Nah! Sues radiant visage and Jules glowing wotsit!
Don - most understandable - I did hear she had a radioactive yeild from her glowing wotsit, higher than Chernoby 8)!!!
and I think you meant Sues radioactive Visage!! No wonder you need sun-glasses!!!

By the way I remember Chernoybl because it happened on my Birthday - Extract from Wickipedia below:

The Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear reactor accident in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Soviet Union. It is considered to be the worst nuclear power plant disaster in history and the only level 7 instance on the International Nuclear Event Scale. It resulted in a severe release of radioactivity into the environment following a massive power excursion which destroyed the reactor. Two people died in the initial steam explosion, but most deaths from the accident were attributed to radiation.

On 26 April 1986 01:23:45 a.m. (UTC+3) reactor number four at the Chernobyl plant, near Pripyat in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, exploded. Further explosions and the resulting fire sent a plume of highly radioactive fallout into the atmosphere and over an extensive geographical area. Four hundred times more fallout was released than had been by the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.[1]

No wonder the Girls Glow - they must have been downwind!!

Ditto Sue, although i would dearly love to go earlier or later. Did go October half term too a couple of years ago but hard to get out there at any other time. Been looking at Easter just out of curiousity, but too many logistical probs! Can't wait to retire except that then i wont be able to afford to go! 8)

That's my greatest fear as pension time approaches, will the pension keep up and can we afford to go?
Roll on the big Lotto win!!

You could also be due a pension as a long serving employee of a bankrupt company. Learn the pension fund has quite recently been wound up. Check with my employers (Westminster Government) only to find well outside their criteria to be helped under compensation schemes for lost pensions. Still smiling though. PS..... interest on ISA 6.1% to april 2009 (fixed) 1.25% after! Who suggested we save? Oooops!! Our Government!
