Title: Little Prince
Post by: Karen on July 09, 2019, 02:48:57 PM
Just making contingency arrangements for next year. Think we may struggle to get into Stamatis/Silver Moon next year. Tom's private apartments are booked right up until September of next year. Just had a look  in Little Prince and have seen good reviews on here, any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated :)

Little Prince is a great place to stay. Very large studios, which are quite cool even in hot weather. We're there for 3 weeks this year - 9 years since we first arrived in the village and stayed there!

Stayed there in September last year, in a two bedroom apt. Fabulous views from the front, well cleaned too, and as Jimbo says, they are large with plenty cupboard space. The new studios are fabulous, had a peek in one in June, very very nice.

Thank you Maggie. Hubby has mobility problems now, so I think it will suit us better too. :)

Yea it is ideal we find.Nicely placed in the village and with a lift.
seems funny staying there now when we think back to how it wasn't even there when we first went-well there was very little there at all on either side of the road.

Booked Little Prince today for 29th June next year. Got £150 on line discount, plus a £100 voucher off on the plane coming home, so got the apartment for £300 less than we paid at Stamatis this year :)

Well done you Karen, top stuff. The LP is a fab place, so central, and class apartments, and has a lift too.

Thanks Winkie, I feel I've made the right decision. It's always difficult to change, when you've been to the same place for 15 years. We will still go to Silver Moon to meet up with our many friends who will be staying there :)

I think you have, and you know them all already which I think is a plus.
We go into Thomas Bay for drinks and lunch occasionally anyway.

We eat mainly at Nafsika, so it is a lot closer, but we will try Little Prince restaurant as we are staying there, especially for John's cooked breakfast  ;D

Thanks Waspman, is it an all day breakfast, we sometimes like one for lunch, some places stop doing them at noon.

I often have fruit in a Little Prince fir breakfast and they do have a decent breakfast menu but for us nothing compares with the Condor.
It is amazing.

You know we heard so many reports on how good it was over the years  and kept saying we would try it  we never actually got there until about three years ago.
All those brilliant breakfasts we missed!!! >:(

Haha! We spend part of our evenings in there, but have never eaten there, so it's on the itinerary for next year :)

I think we all tend to mean to go to other places but tend to stick to our tried and trusted favourites.

You are right Maggie, we went to a couple of other places , because of the storms, that were just average, so back to Nafsika :)

Yesw Andy is a bit sort of 'Why try anywhere else when we KNOW it's good here'.
Me?I'll try anything,anywhere.
Maybe just the once but if it's a disappointment he never lets me forget. >:(

We are booked in at Little Prince again for our two stays this year.
We love the fact that it is central for us and that there is a lift.
They know our requirements and habits and are great.

Agree Maggie, very central and fabulous staff. The lift is a bonus for the less able too, used it plenty on our last stay due to mobility issues.
