Enjoyed three evening meals here,all served piping hot,friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Will definately return on our visit in September.

Have to agree with you Winkie . Olympia is our favourite , with many very close runners up. The only slight thing against it is the view .If only it could be moved to the Waves or Beachcomber area it would be perfect , always a great welcome and great food.

Our favourite restaurant as well. Nothing is to much trouble. Usually eat here at least 3 times during our 2 weeks holiday. Can't wait to be back in resort in 4 weeks time and sampling the great hospitality

Just had a wee look on TA, seems to have gone from the list of restaurants :o. Stelios was considering doing other things,hopefully he,s still entertaining us as diners this summer.

Even if it had closed old reviews would stay on there. I can't actually remember there being reviews for Olympia on TA - but that's probably just my bad memory

Should anyone wish to call them. They are actually doing some work in the restaurant right now I have been told, so would take it that they will be open this year.

Having read a previous post I felt it prudent and also relevant to contact the owners directly. I can confirm Stelios, Vassilis and the family will be open as always at OLYMPIA from May until October once again this summer 2017 and look forward to seeing both regulars and new guests at their restaurant which is open all day from Midday until late evening..........
They are looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer on both the outside decking area and inside the main restaurant.

We had our evening meal at the Olympia last night. It was our first meal there having returned to San Stef for the first time in 25 years. We had intended to just order a main course but the waiter very gently persuaded us to order a starter and dessert. We were pleased he did. The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being intrusive. A very good evening and as we are here for 3 weeks i am sure we will eat there again.

Spent another two nights eating dinner here last week,no change in service,ambience and food,absolutely perfect.Our top eaterie in the village,was busy each night we were there,and almost every other night we passed by. Class oozes out of this place,the background music is superb,non intrusive as are some others,be back in June next year definately. Thanks to Stelios,Vassilis and George for your company.

Sad to report the passing of George, such a lovely guy, always on hand to help with any queries re menu or wines. Always a big smile or a wave if passing by, will be so difficult to replace, and a huge loss to Stelios and Vasillis and of course Olympia diners. RIP GEORGE. :'( :'( :'(

Really saddened to hear of George passing away. Always polite and professional, always friendly but never over familiar. Shocked by the news. Condolences to his family and friends and to all at Olympia.

Some friends went to eat at Olympia last night and said is was just ok, nothing special. I think we have to try different places and see what suits us. :)

Help me with my memory.....we ate here last Sunday, it was lovely, but we thought the front of the building and the outside area at the back was refurbished in recent years since we were here last in 2011. Is our memory playing tricks or has it changed? ???

They built a decking area a few years back with sofa chairs and also since the Olympia Villa has been refrurbished a new beautiful stone wall below has been added.......

We ate at the Olympia tonight, the first time since 2017. Lyn had Sofrito and i had lamb with spinach and feta. Both meals were beautiful and the service was great. We will definitely go back.

Ha! Right on both counts. I now have a couple of weeks supply of the most important meds, so i am ok on that front. Still no luggage though, last heard of i Dublin. Have bought a couple of shirts, so alternating. Footwear is the hardest. I may be a Kiwi now but i have never got on with jandals!

Great restaurant with lovely staff.
We ate here four times, it is so good, and a fabulous menu. The staff Athina and Louisa are lovely, and of course behind the scene Vasillis and Stelios are always on hand to make you so welcome.

Heard about that last year Carl, so sad, it is our favourite place to eat.

Is a nice restaurant but there are so many other nice restaurants in SS I don’t think it will be missed too much. Is probably one of the more expensive ones.
Will make that side of the village a bit quieter though which is not good for neighbouring shops/bars etc

That really is a shame, loved the food there. We ate twice in the Olympia last June and with just 3 weeks to go was hoping to do the same this year.

Mrs J celebrated her 30th Birthday back in the day, they really made her feel special, she wont be happy.

We are here now and the Olympia does still do food but you have to book in advance as limited availability.

Lamb shank for me, Vasillis is a master chef in his kitchen, great funny guy too, our go to place in the village.

Have read online, that Vassilis had heart troubles over the close season, and Olympia now offers a much reduced menu to ease his workload in the kitchen, booking is now advised too. Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery, and is able to get back to his kitchen magic very soon.

We were just told it was a health issue that was improving. The meal was still amazing when we visited, we both had their mixed grill.
