The first direct flights for the summer arrive in Corfu today March 23rd.....summer is almost here. A warm welcome to everyone arriving today on the island.......

Due to weather conditions today low cloud windy and sand in air low visibility it was diverted to Thessaloniki so hope they all arrive soon......flights with Easyjet and then Ryan directly from UK have been arriving for the past few years into Corfu end March and normally for Gatwick go through until mid November which is great for us living here to grab a short break prior to the busy summer season. Less hassle and cheaper then many years ago when we had to go via Athens on the national carrier. We still do not have direct flights over the winter time but at least this is now only Mid November to Mid March........

Weather looks like its going to pick up early next week too so hopefully the early arrivals will have a great time :)
