Some do use it but it is not officially open and is not completed as the bit in the middle is not tacrmac'd and I do not use it as it is damaging to my car tyres in its present state. OK though for a walking shortcut between the resorts of Agios Stefanos and Sidari.
Either end there are large blocks which were put there to stop cars etc but these have been moved to one side..........

Wife's just reminded me that the situation is due in part some kind of dispute regarding funding at a local level, curios!

I was using it the year before last, but I did always quite enjoy that challenge of squeezing through Avliotes. Albeit little more so in a hire car than my own. Sorry Dino if you are watching from above, (or below).

Our taxi used it 2 years ago,only downside is that you miss seeing Avliotes Village.

I drove along it several times last May, just go slow and careful in the middle, Coaches were using it as well.
