Seems unlikely when the paper's are full of gloom and doom in China etc but if it can go down so quickly it can go up just the same.

Post by: Rover on January 23, 2016, 12:50:46 PM: Is it really worth worrying about? Either buy when you think the rate has peaked, or stop worrying and get them just before you leave. The actual cash difference can be quite small. Just avoid buying at the airport!

If I changed £2000 at today's rates I would get 174 Euros less than in June last year.Don't know where you eat in Agios Stefanos but that's a lot more than I spend on a meal. I'm not worrying about it Rover but I'll keep an eye on the rate and we never buy at the airport.

Post by: Dupnica on January 25, 2016, 07:37:29 PM: £2000 sounds a lot I know but we paid for accommodation out of that and we took extra because we couldn't rely on getting cash out of the ATMs We didn't spend it all and managed to bring a few hundred home with us which went towards the September holiday.
