Title: bbc filming of my family and other animals

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the filming will taking place any where near the village or is it nearer corfu town and kassiopi?

just curious - wouldnt mind being on the crew for that job  :)

They did film earlier this month over at Peroulades/Logos if you download the Corfu Gazette September edition you may find more information there as well.......... try link as www.realcorfu.com/corfu-gazette/ and click on September.......

Having spent a lot of my working life on location, I can tell you that filming is an extremely boring process!

Ditto Jim I used to have to accompany TV crews making programmes promoting/filming holiday destinations including here in Corfu, all day sometimes just to take literally a few takes of a Jeep 4x4 driving onto a beach.....

It's not so bad if you have something to do. As the screenwriter, unless the script needs adjusting for weather or sick actors etc, you are totally redundant. I used to turn up around lunch time, because location catering is usually excellent!
