Title: Food in suitcase
Post by: diane13 on September 11, 2013, 08:27:10 PM
Just wonder if someone could advise me whether it will be OK to take a packet of instant pasta mix in our suitcase.  We are off to Roda next week and won't get to accommodation until about 11.00 pm and as we don't know the area it might be too late to buy a snack  Never tried the instant pasta and it might be awful but can't really think of what else to take?

We went to kef one year to stay with mates in their villa. We took frozen sausage, bacon, tins of beans and all ok going through. They wanted English sausage and bacon bringing over. I always take honey back home and never had any problems x

No problem with honey in the aircraft hold:

From UK Gov website.

Within the EU
You can bring any fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy or other animal products (eg fish, eggs and honey) into the UK if you’re travelling from a country within the EU.
