Title: mosquito bites
Post by: Caz on June 15, 2013, 01:20:35 PM
Has anyone else discovered 'Incognito' mossie repelent? Not wanting to use a deet  based one which they nearly all seem to be, on myself or young granddaughter I found this 100% natural  one in Holland & Barretts. Not one bite whilst in San Stef and I usually get eaten alive. Seems to have brilliant reviews online when I looked. Apparently you can also get shampoo, soap, incense sticks and aftersun. Not cheap but for me well, well worth it. My husband who rarely gets bit used one of the popular deet based ones and they happily munched on  him. Will def buy more for when we return in September.

Not heard of that one before Caz . Thanks for the info. As you say though 100% natural has got to be better for children.

Thanks for that - I will definitely try this as I always get bitten no matter what product I have used before.

We always use Jungle Formula liquid plug ins in the room and the roll on for our skin. Not had any problems with that before but haven't actually read the composition of it.

Yes  - forgot to mention that the aircon does help. I think it says on the plugins not to use with aircon (not sure why) but we always do :)
Roy's not had a mossie bite for years and puts it down to Marmite but I don't think so as he uses the Jungle Formula as well.

That would be "Agent Orange" as trialled in Vietnam - - kills everything - Gav's got some for Don to try....
