.........the water in San Stefanos?
I have always used the tap water in bottles in the fridge for my drinking water and never had any problems. Do any of you stalwart SS regulars also drink the water? :)

We only buy the bottled water as knowing our luck we would end up with some sort of bug. The bottles are cheap enough to buy in packs so we don't take the risk

I understand that the water is safe but full of different minerals which until you get used to can cause you to have the runs...

Water in corfu is very hard and full of calcium so I tend to avoid drinking it as my water at home is as soft as it gets out of a tap. It won't do you any harm, just it doesn't taste very nice imo.

Never had a problem with the water which we use for tea, coffee, icecubes and washing fruit. However, normally use bottles for drinking water.

We always use bottled water - even at home!!
I use tap water to clean my teeth but hubby will only use bottled water.

We always drink bottled water in SS, because a change of water can cuse problems, and spoil a holiday.
What amuses me is that we spend huge sums of money in the UK to purify water so that it is safe to drink, and then use it to flush lavatories, wash clothes/dishes etc. This will have to cha nge on the future, and I suspect more rainwater will be "harvested" to use for non drinking purposes.

We brush our teeth with the tap water, but use bottled for everything else.

We have never had any problems drinking the water. Drink, shower in it, make tea with it. It's fine.
I think that Little Prince has the deepest borehole (well) in the village.
Here in Hull the water has a quite high mineral content, so we're used to it. If you live in the Greater London area your water has passed through at least five bladders and been recycled, in which case you might find natural water a bit strong!
