For me it's the sunset or the whole 'golden hour' from up at the Akrotiri bar.
I'll be attempting to get out with my camera for a sunrise or two but it didn't happen last year and I wouldn't be surprised if this year is the same!

Looks like your picture is taken from the Teresa area Gav so have to say I share that as one of my favourite views. Also love the views from the top of the headland at Akrotiri Bar.

Spent a couple of evenings at the Akrotiri bar last year so agree with Jules and D@g they are sensational views. For me though , a balcony sunset from your room at the Romanza, glass of wine in hand, watching the evening boats heading to the harbour,my favourite part of the day and my favourite view.

I know sunsets are most peoples favourites but what about daytime pictures as well. We love being down by the old harbour with the sound of the sea lapping the shore. The sea mesmorises.

You have to register with something like imageshack.
Upload a picture to it and it should then show you lots of links. Copy and paste the one that says for Forums into your post on here. I then preview it to make sure it works before posting

D@G ,Tsaros apartments? We stayed at the studio's in 2010, absolutely loved our stay at tsaros.

Anyone know if they sell any English drinks brands? Carlsberg, Strongbow etc? I dont want to drink them just will take them some bar towels etc with me. They are hard to get hold of out there

Last year the lager was Mythos and they sold bottles of Strongbow and i think cans of Heineken. I'm sure you will love it at the Tsaros, we certainly did.

D@G, when we stayed at Tsaros we use to have some great chats of an evening with an old guy called George ( he designed the Tsaros website) who had moved from England and lived in an apartment at Tsaros, I was just wondering if he is still going strong, when we left he was waiting on arrival of a mobility scooter. So many happy memories of staying there, Nikos gave my hubby a free drink of something he kept under the bar, whatever it was nearly blew his head off, happy days!

Ha ha, I can't remember after all that vino but John and his hose will very soon be no more, he joined when very young and has done his 25 years and he is taking early retirement in 2 weeks time, still I am sure if he spots a bush fire in SS then he might dust it off and bring it out of retirement. ;D ;D
BTW, did you manage to get sorted with a mankini, I believe Tesco have got some on offer for a tenner, D ;D ;D

Yes Lilly George was still going strong (as of June 2012) and was enjoying the use of his mobility scooter. He had an apartment opposite the Tsaros pool bar if I remember correctly? He used to have a drink most afternoons with Nikos and sometimes Dmitri (from Nondas) and another lovely English couple who's daughter had married a local.

Thanks for that D@G, I am glad to know that he is still going strong, we are staying at the other end of the resort this time and doing an independent holiday (3 weeks),never done an independent holiday before but on this occasion it worked out a lot cheaper for us, we will definetly pop up to the Tsaros for a drink or two, just love the atmosphere up there.

Imageshack is free, no need to pay for the upgraded versions.
Are the images you are trying to upload 5mb or less? Right click on the image and select 'properties' and look at the image size. If the image is larger than 5mb you will need to resize them.

Rover, it looks like Chrome doesn't want to play but I have managed to upload some pics using Opera! But I need to know how to get the pic on here as I don't understand what to do after I get the img in brackets ???

After extensive " Research " my wife and myself have to report that the Corfiot Porter was not available in the Glasshouse , Norwich on Saturday.
