Still not open and haven't observed any work on it since Oct/November.

Maybe the Germans should make it a condition of getting a bail-out that they finish it!

I believe the Germans will only be happy when they own some Greek islands..... Permanently! Just a rumour some work colleagues were on about after a long weekend in Berlin.
They are adamant that was what they heard talked about in their hotel.

while there for the carnival, i was told that the new road will not be finished until some one has been paid, its seems there is a row about payments so work has halted for now, its not far off finishing tho...but they have left a nhice big pile of rubble in middle so you cant use it !!!!
