Not sure if it's new this year (I can't say i noticed any last year) but a few places now stock the Corfu Beer company bitter and real ale (Brewed in Arrilas). I'm more of a lager person myself but i must say these were very pleasant on the pallet.

very good - had one on Mithraki. Expensive, though.

Yeah they are very good much less gassey than the lager if you normally drink bitter

You can pop into their factory its on the road from Ag Stef towards Arillas turn left at junction by Golden Market and its just before the BP station.

We stopped by last year, although just had a look in from the outside so not sure of opening times. They have their own website with email contact details: http://www.corfubeer.com/ (http://www.corfubeer.com/)
Tried both of the ales last year, very nice they were too and looking forward to sampling the pilsner on the next visit ;)

Not a lager drinker but I had the Royal Ionian at Efi pool bar a few years ago. Ran Mythos close according to my taste buds.

these ales that yous are mentioning are currently around 4 euros a bottle in san stef

stick to mythos 2.50 a bottle or on draught same prise

A pal of mine tells me its quoted on the real ale's site so must be worth it, I'm a wine drinker myself but I do hear its worth the extra if you like a good brew........

Must say I still prefer Mythos to ale, I've never been a serious Beer or "Real Ale" drinker.

Me too Tony if it's not a lovely glass of white wine then a cold Mythos anyday, but like u not an ale drinker but it is doing well and it's good to see a new enterprise taking off here on the island, bravo for the boys who invented the Corfu Beer.......

Just had a can of Mythos each after finishing the gardening for the day.

My husband enjoyed both the new beers - the real ale one and the special. We paid 3.50 in bars and 2.60 in supermarkets.

Aldis special offer today includes Mythos at £1.39 - also some other Greek bits and pieces.

Bought the only 5 bottles in stock. Also decided 39p each wasn't to much of an extravagance and bought the mixes for gyros and souvlaki.

Didn't have any in our local Aldi - in fact, there was no sign of any promo, so guess Mythos only available in some Aldi stores.

If I hadn't gone to work I'd have bought both cases our local store had.

I've just drunk a couple. Got them nice and chilled, poured one out, closed my eyes, had a sip or two, and b****r me - it was just being in - erm - Hull, sitting in the kitchen, drinking Mythos. Amazing what the imagination can do...
Tomorrow I'm going try one with the 360 degree tour, but I'll have to send an email to Dimitris at Little Prince, because I've looked several days running and he hasn't changed the specials menu!

roy and i decided we would go to yeovil to get mythos and anything else we liked from aldis all the way in the car he was saying how he was going to sit back and enjoy a mythos tonight pulled in to the car park big sighn saying farm fresh no aldis cant put on here the words that came from roy all 13 miles home but i did have a little chuckle
