Can anyone tell me if the cocktail bar is still going next door but one to Sanstefanos traval

If you mean the one near Tasty Corner, it is called El Greco and opens even in winter during days for frappes and coffees as is popular as has free wifi access there. When it first opened it was called Bar Code.

Very nice bar - also has live music at times - I am trying to remember the name of the cheeky little barman there - he was great fun!!
I think it was George - if I am wrong maybe Lesley can tell me.
We will def-go back there!

It is George. Used to be a waiter at Thomas Bay a few years back.

Popped into see George at El Greco this evening, great company, good music and  FREE wifi, just ask for code at the bar, and really fresh coffee, made with fresh coffee beans.  The bar has been extended, its a great central location and great loos. Then of course if you are feeling hungry - Tasty Corner is next door.  Defo one of my coffe/drink stops this summer......... 8)

Have they spread into the new-old San Stef travel shop?

Don, Bar is the same location, what used to be SS travel is now a sort of area for PC's games and stuff, (sure will be a popular hang out for the teenagers in July/August) but the WIFI on your laptops, netbooks, blackberry's etc can viewed over a cocktail, coffee, drink etc in the bar area.  The front indoor area has been extended outwards and outside the old travel office, which makes it larger and - it is also popular with the locals too, sensibly priced, wine is very palitable and if enjoying coffe (freshly ground) during day and ouzo etc early evening and of course whilst waiting for your Gyros to be prepared.  Well done George, love it....... 8)

Popped into see George this evening at the El Greco, whilst waiting for my Gyros next door, so a little wine would be rude not too...... Anyway Groucho is there next week at El Greco, that's Wednesday for any new arrivals or those here at the moment so make a date Wednesday June 29th 9.30pm etc etc.......Hope to see you there.....
