Come on someone out there..you must have contacts in the media,surely this can be made aware to a bigger audience..it needs showing up as it could be happening more times to similar hotels in resorts like San Stefanos

They still have the 3 "terrible" reviews on from 2009/10 Silverstar...and on reading them they are considerably worse than your critique.Maybe they want to show people that they have improved since then and have left these problems way behind?

Sounds like trying to buy concert tickets for your favourite band!!..Probably take the day off work,get up at 6.00am book our flights and then go back to bed again!!

"I long for my holidays but hate wishing my life away cos it's too precious".......Problem is that with everday life your problems,stresses,fears and doubts are with you daily while when you are away for those (in my opinion) more precious,well earned 2 weeks you can leave them all behind when you lock that front door!!!

Must admit Condor was my favourite the last time we were in San Stefanos in 2011..massive portions and nice and hot as well..nothing worse than a luke warm brekkie!!

Can you just walk in off the street for breakfast at Jasmine Debra?..Trying to get some feedback on the best full english breakfasts in San Stefanos for our return next year.Feel that if you have a good filling breakfast to start you off then you can save some money you wont need for a lunch to go towards a great meal at night!!..Anyone any favourites?

« on: August 14, 2013, 03:13:43 AM »Parga has some wonderful trips around it: Dodona, the oldest Greek theatre; Ioannina - lovely lakeside town; the (misnamed) river Styx (actually Acheron); the high cliff from which the Souliote women threw themselves and their children to avoid capture by the Turks... and so on. In fact the whole of Epirus is almost a magic kingdom.
I know Jimbo.......but its not San Stef!!!....Remember you from Romanza in 2007 as well as a quick hello when we were leaving and you were arriving a year later!!

In all the posts regarding their best places to eat,the usual (and very nice too!) suspects are mentioned like Olympia,Little Prince,Beachcomber etc.However,when I go back next year I fancy trying 2 places I have always noticed on my travels but never frequented.These are Evinos and Sunset.Both in the newer part of town near "the hill"!!..Has anyone tried these recently and would anybody recommend them as an alternative to the San Stef favourites?

« on: August 13, 2013, 02:39:23 AM »just read an article in the newspaper that says that the looking forward to and planning a holiday is psychologically better for us than the actual holiday!!Oh so true Debra!!....Went to Parga this year and I spent so much time You Tubing and surfing all things Parga for nearly a year that when the real thing finally came it was not exactly a letdown but I felt that I had done it all already!!..Although I have done San Stefanos a few times before,next year will so much different because I realise what I missed out on this year!!
