Title: Flights
Post by: pembo on April 15, 2009, 01:59:24 PM
Easy jet are now flying to Corfu from Manchester, not the best in the world but it works out cheaper than Thomson and TC. Only problem is they are late flight times.

i dont think they are that much cheaper than thompson and the flight times are dire.

suggest you look at www.travelsupermarket.co.uk or www.skyscanner.net to compare prices.

thomson are lookig best for me - great times and only a few quid more and no "leggit!" to board the plane

Check Monach as well.
It depends on the Airport and when you book - we booked easyjet from Gatwick this year,
£100 per head cheaper than any other airline - £500 saved to spend on food and drink,
we think the times are good so can put up with the run!!
Works out at £140 per head with all the bits added on, but we booked when they first advertised July at start of the year.
Now its £260 for the same flight and bits booked!!

We booked Easyjet from Manchester in january when seats first released. Paid £145 each return which was brilliant to us. The flights out are 14.15pm which are not too bad at all.

If we were booking Easy jet now for our holiday it would cost over £200.00 each with all the add ons. Next year though we may have to look at the booking independent option judging by the prices that Portland have now for our holiday unless Teresa decide to go independent (which would be fantastic news of course). From when we booked last April the price has gone up by about £500, so glad we booked when we did. :D
