Well I enjoy a go!
My signature tune is ''Dance the Night away'', by the Mavericks - or me actually!!
I like the fun songs - Not so into Rat-Pack or Elvis.
-
I avoid any place doing that like the plague :o
-
Ha-Ha - yes - I used to as well, but my Niece "stitched me up", in the T/Bay one evening so I had a go and found I was still not to bad.
I used to sing years ago!
But I avoid all the usual crooner rat-pack-Elvis stuff.
I must admit, it's not my first choice for an evening out!
I love live entertainment, and good musicians!
-
I don't, but my wife does.
She normally sings "Lipstick on my collar", "Hey big spender", "These boots are made for walkin'" and a couple more. As long as she's not too drunk she's pretty good.
Main place for her performances is The Round-Up Saloon in Carvoeiro, The Algarve. Usually gets up with the bar owner, the infamous Big Will, a giant of a dutchman (ex world strongman competitor). Plus the K team in Round Up are brill singers as well, so they usually step in early in the evening to get it going.
She tried K in Condor last summer, but the DJ keeps playing records in between instead of letting the K to get going. And it's not led by a Karaoke DJ so wasn't impressed with Condor for K. We'll have to try Thomas Bay this June.
I must admit i used to hate K nights but a couple of times/week on holiday is good fun.

I believe he was embalmed and still gets wheeled out to excite ladies of a certain age!
-
I can indeed confirm that Cliff Richard was embalmed around 90 years ago, and now lives with his "Manager",
who slips the odd Viagra into his food and then watches poor old Cliff sweat as he fights the urge!
They live "Happily ever after - so far, in the British History Museum,
the song Summer Holiday was co-written by his boyhood friend William Shakespear.
-
Please note.......... Not the world renowned William Shakespeare but the one that sells the "e"
-
I'll be singing as much as poss while I'm at the Thomas Bay bet 4th and 14th june - I love gettin everyone up for a good laugh - its rubbish when only really good singers get up! :)
I do beautiful south, cranberries, texas, ugly kid joe, aqua - lol - anything really as long as i can rope other ppl in to have a few drinks and a few laughs :)
-
sian im always the first to get call up to start the singing after ive sang nobodys worried about getting up to sing im game for a laugh any time thats whats makes the holidays they always say to me dont ring us we will ring you ha ha yammas mike.
-
Well im glad I'm not gonna be bored on my holiday! Lol. Theres no need to be self concious at a good karaoke - its not about good singing - its about the crack - as it were - lol.
-
My husband likes Neil Young and Bob Dylan........................ Unfortunately he makes them sound like good singers.
-
I do my own party-piece at the Thomas where I have my own words to Barbados, goes down well as Don will testify.
I also go for the more fun tracks, too many soulful crooners howling Elvis and Sinatra, so I do stuff like Hey Baby etc.
Nothing like a bit of lively entertainment.
If my niece Heather goes, we do Summer Lovin' and she does Hey big Spender - with all the Actions!! LOL
-
Never a dull moment in SS Sian. You will have a truly memorable time :)
-
Yes - you would remember Jules all right -
She Just wears an illuminated thong at night, Pink Madonna Cone Bra and lime green Doc Martin's!!
Memorable is the word - eh! Jules - - - -LOL

Im hoping some of you will be out there while we are - would be sods law for me to be there on the quietest week with lots of miserable ppl lol
