There's only a 100 yard gap with rocks on.

Need a local to comment!!!

I drove along it in my little Fiat Panda last week and managed to get from the bottom end in valley right upto the top by petrol station.

Yes they are working on it, still a few parts unmade with tarmac but can't see it will take much longer as they seemed busy.  :-*

Wasn't some kind of dispute holding up completion?

Hopefully it's ready for the 2014 season!

This is very good news if it's completed in time for the summer.

We will lose a bit of sport watching the various vehicles jostling and arguing with each other as they squeeze through Avliotes, and we sit comfortably in Ilias Taverna, but that's a small price to pay!

Great news for drivers but I'll be a little sad as I've got used to doing a circular walk between San Stef and Sidari these last couple of years. Still, Peroulades is always lovely to walk through instead.

Well so far since my last post when I did drive from bottom to top I can say more tarmac is awaiting some work at the bottom end (towards the crossroads near to Koukinakades) There are workers in this part too laying concrete drainage parts so it does look like it could be ready quite soon.....

We did drive through it a few weeks ago, although I don't think we should of! It is almost finished, just a bit rough on a couple of sections.
Lesley may be the lady that knows if and when it may be open this year.............
