Silverstar, have been looking at TA website. Go to bottom of page click "About us" will give general tel no 020 3320 3253 or click on "Help Centre" then click "contact us" then "General Support" this will go to your email address with a drop down box click for "reviews" then another drop down box click "where is my Review". Hope this helps a bit.

so sorry Silverstar. You wrote a fair review makes me wonder just how genuine Trip Advisor is. Does Kostas advertise with them I wonder? Whatever the reason it stinks

Silver star just looked at trip advisor to see if there is a reply and can't find your review anymore, have you removed it?

Went for a look round this may. Met Kostas  leaving as we entered and he was pleasant enough but instructed us to go to reception. We did'nt we walked past, it was amusing to see the receptionist nearly break her neck to get from behind her desk to head us off. She was courteous but made it clear we weren't welcome to look around, so based on how we were treated we wouldn't return for a meal despite her sales pitch. Far to up themselves for my liking

We found more glass on the beach generally when we got there early May but the constant clearing by the digger and the restaurants raking the sand made a huge difference. We still kept finding finding the odd bit and had to watch when barefoot but it had all but gone when we came home. did'nt walk past mango myself but husband did and he said lots more  glass further along.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: Romantic Meal.
« on: June 15, 2013, 01:30:02 PM »
It's a personal preference thing isn't it? Beachcomber is too much like home for me and if anything too smart. (Don't shoot me now). My romantic meal would still be overlooking the beach and the sunset but would be in Mistral eating Mama's giant prawns grilled and delivered making 2 hearts. Followed by one of her delicious desserts. Much more rustic but more to my taste.   Hey ho we are all different and what's romantic for one doesn't suit another.

Out and About / mosquito bites

Has anyone else discovered 'Incognito' mossie repelent? Not wanting to use a deet  based one which they nearly all seem to be, on myself or young granddaughter I found this 100% natural  one in Holland & Barretts. Not one bite whilst in San Stef and I usually get eaten alive. Seems to have brilliant reviews online when I looked. Apparently you can also get shampoo, soap, incense sticks and aftersun. Not cheap but for me well, well worth it. My husband who rarely gets bit used one of the popular deet based ones and they happily munched on  him. Will def buy more for when we return in September.

for me the biggest change was the beach, especially up by Mango and Havana the gales we had whilst we were there saw to that and how far the sea is coming up to the back of the beach. They have also put in a sturdy bridge where the river comes out on to the beach.
We left Saturday and it was still free sunbeds outside the restaurants. We got the impression (language difficulties here) that waves and mistral will continue to leave their own beds in front and would introduce some method of payment tied in to using them. Maybe no one bid for the licence for that part of the beach. Irene told us the cost is anything from E5000 to E20,000 depending whereabouts on the beach the bid is for.
