Title: Jet2.com Flights 2010
Post by: don on August 09, 2009, 11:12:32 PM
Just priced up 2 adults for 2 weeks Ex-Leeds Bradford flying Jet2.com. Flying out on Monday 28/06/10 and using the 10kg hand luggage only option £230.96.
This is well cheap! They do though allow up to 22kg hold luggage but you pay  £43.96 plus £24.00 check in fee. Total £298.92. Still cheap!

We checked out Easy Jet from Manchester for roughly that time and it came in at about £300.00 for 2 people

If you use easyjet, wait for the summer 2010 to go online and book early for the best prices!

Easyjet posted a note on the website a couple of weeks ago. They're staggering the flights being put on the website for Summer 2010. April/May/June on now; July/August/September 2010 will be going on later (next month or so i guess). They used to add all Summer flights in one go, in late October/early November every year.

I booked our late April 2010 flights with Ejet from BTL to Benidorm the other week (alright, don't all laugh at once, but it's only for 3 nights and we have great fun - in fact, an absolute blast! But 3 nights there is plenty long enough!). Waiting for Sept 2010 flights so we can book our annual pilgramage to Portugal.

Looked at BTL to Corfu for next June, but they've changed the flight times out of BTL to late afternoon. Not ideal prefer early morn.

Sorry, i've rambled!!

We know exactly the same feeling...................... Easyjet 3 hours later ex-Man in 2010..... Roughly 17.30 not 14.30............... In resort probably midnight!!!!!!!!!!!

You always seem to lose a day on most holidays because of flight times!

Thomsons had a go early leave late flight.... Quit room at midday and leave resort about 6 hours later. Also leave afternoon and get back late - 10 minutes before the previous flight. Also go late, very very late get back for breakfast. Not too much difference.
Next year it seems to be leave early get back for afternoon coffee. Leave San Stef at 9.00am.

Sounds like very familiar flight times!!
I always get surprised if we gain from it!!

This year our flights are great for time. We depart 6.35am and return flight is about 10pm. We gain both ways this year. Next year we depart 6.35am again but return late morning / early afternon.

lucky you we were late getting to san stef and left 8am but we have found the flight from cardiff airport is 7.20am and back at 3pm so that is better only another 20 min drive and its straight on the m5 from taunton then m4 so should be better

We would all do anything to extend our stay Zoe even if it's just for a few hours.

We live right next to Heathrow Airport - 5 mins to the Terminals 123!
Always have to fly from Gatwick, about 45 mins drive in normal easy conditions, (v/early morning), along the M25/M23.
A lot of packages mean you end up losing a day travelling off the holiday!!

Flights from Norwich are 16.05 so thats a day gone by the time you get to the resort at 10.30-11.00ish and they collect you about 10 in the morning to go back to the airport.  Good thing we are going for 2 weeks next year otherwise 6 is not enough!!

Our last two 14 day visits to San Stef somehow morphed into 18 nights last year and 21 this last time! Seven days in September will feel like a cat nap!
