A few new places opening up apparently. Ozzie Oils has new owners, the lovely Aris (ex Fedra Mare and Beachcomber) and his lady. Manthos taverna now had a makeover and run by folks from Romanza, Chilli Chilli has become a cocktail bar I believe, and the old Two Stars a steak house, and San Stef travel have moved across the road into Perdita premesis, lots of good things happening folks.  8)

Well the balance is paid the taxi from this end is booked and we will be leaving home at 3.30 am this time for a 6.0am flight.
We are in touch with our Corfu taxi drivers on a regular basis anyway via Viber so that is sorted.
Just a waiting game now.

Very similar flight times as we have Maggie, from Glasgow, taxis still to book in resort for transfers, cant wait  8).

We've had a fantastic, warm sunny weekend here, so was the perfect time to head down to the beach.  8)

Bod had a great time, heading straight into the clear, calm sea, and the beach was quite busy with walkers.

However, there was also a guy with a microlite, who loves to take off from the long flat sands, who unfortunately causes Bod to bark like cray, so we had to cut our little jaunt short......bet the view from up there is amazing though!

Not much going on in the resort, but it was Sunday....

Thanks for the updates Jackie, much appreciated by us all.

Where to stay / Re: Olympia Apartments
« on: January 10, 2019, 03:36:54 PM »
Stayed there two years ago, huge two bedroom apartments, fitted kitchen and large toilet shower area, large furnished balconies too, with lovely views. Restaurant directly below, no noise that I recall, and a fabulous host and owner Stellios always available. Downside might be the stairs, access is steps up at the side, not a lot, and not overly steep, with something to hold on either side, cost will depend on the season, but compares favourably with other accomodation in the village, plus,I believe the fridge is stocked with some groceries, beers, and other nibbles. Fabulous place to stay, would have no hesitation in going back.
