Title: Wind Turbines
Post by: joan on September 07, 2009, 12:41:37 AM: Re wind measurement by the chapel on the top of the hill between SS and Arrillas. They are definately measuring wind speed to look to site turbines offshore. This is a project in the making and will take approx 3 years to come to fruition. There is also consideration to some of the turbines being sited inland.

Not too sure as to where these are going to be sited everything is a bit vague as it's still in the planning stages yet. We were told it was between the islands but no specific island was mentioned. We will just have to wait and see.

(Awaitng more puns from tony at this point!) Nobody here believes that I was sober when it happened.
