Anyone know what the best rate going in SS at the moment?

Crown Currency offering 1-18 Euros to the £ (with a 10 - 20 day) delivery

I don't think thats worth the risk/wait, as the rate appears to be creeping up at the minute
with even the P.O. offering 1-1665 ?

I support any of the 4 British home international teams when they play other nations

I know Scotland or Wales don't support England against other teams in general, but Northern Ireland fans seem to

Tony have you ever been to the Greek Vine in Claygate (near Esher) a bit
of a distance from you, but not too far to travel, it has a good reputation

Out and About / Re: Boat trip

Rod I'd like to do that one myself in a few weeks when I'm over as I have been to Parga (and Paxos) several times

I believe it is a really long day and may be too much - don't mind long boat trips but sitting on coaches I can't be done with. Someone has just posted that this particular trip has dropped from 40 to 29 Euros, so may consider it

What is the best of the other boat trips .. Paleokastritsa or the island one would people say ?

I heard the risk from the volcano had almost subsided

Unfortunately the 'risk' of using Sleazyjet as an airline continues
40 minutes late flying out of Luton on friday and 45 mins late flying
back from Belfast yesterday due to the inbound Luton flight being late

Got to Luton on friday morning only for EJ to have 3 or 4 desks open for about
800 passengers, then security taking a further 45 minutes to get through

And this was ONLY a domestic UK flight and only may, whats it going to be like in the peak holiday season -
I would strongly advise anyone flying to Greece (or anywhere)
for that matter to allow extra time at the airports to avoid missing their flights

Yannis - you in the "elephant" thong and sandals, Don in the ultra tight budgie-smuggling Speedos, socks and flip-flops,
Sandra in the dayglo cozzie, Jim in the 3/4 length ankle-huggers and trainers, Chris2 in beer-stained shorts,
me in my designer shorts and crocs, Hendrix in his Pajama's, Sue and Jules in lime green thongs, Doc Martins Boots
and various piercing jewelery,  Mike in his old gardening shorts again with long black socks and sandals,
Zoe in the "Stringkini" and Heels, Roy in his old "best suit" - trousers rolled up, and mad Chris in his viking horns hat!!
No wonder San Stefanos is such an attraction and people go back there!! LOL

Ummm I wonder can I switch my hols to Parga  :-[  :o  :D

Hi Tony
Do you not realise that these y-fronts have given 10 years UNBROKEN sevice to the super hero section of the Romanza PR Dept.
In our current enviromental situation how could you advocate such a shocking course of action.Do you not realise that the toxic cloud produced would ground all flights for the foreseeable future. Not to mention the damage to the ozone layer. Can you have this on your concience.Just think we would not even get to San Stefanos, never mind being able to decide where we go on the first two nights.
Please think again.

Yannis

I hope I'm not staying in the room next to him  :(  :P  ;D

Ash covering northern parts of the UK and already all Northern Ireland / Scotland/ NW airports closed

Haven't actually seen if Newcastle was one of them although not looking good as Humberside closed
so good luck Katie but prepare for the worst  :-\

I'm due to be flying to Belfast on friday for 3 days and just hope the ash has cleared the UK by then  :'(
