Try www.filmon.tv you can record it there and watch it whenever. I don't think there are any regional restrictions but I could be wrong.

San Stefanos news and views / San Stefanos on TV - Thursday 11th Oct - ITV1

Featuring SS travels very own Sally. Details below:-

Corfu: A Tale of Two Islands
Episode: 1 of 8
Thursday, 11 October 2012, 10:35pm- 11:05pm ITV1

Corfu is buzzing! Five hundred thousand Brits fly there each summer and around 10,000 of us have even chosen to live there. It is the No.1 Greek holiday island for British holidaymakers, and we easily out-number every other nationality holidaying on the island. In fact, each summer more Brits set foot on Corfu than Greeks.

‘Corfu: A Tale Of Two Islands’ follows expats and holidaymakers from all walks of life; rich and poor, young and old, English and Greek, in a country that relies on tourism to survive, but is in the throes of economic meltdown. Corfu is a microcosm of Britain on a Mediterranean island. The programme tells the story of an island caught on the cusp of two cultures, whilst trying to cope with economic uncertainty.

Why do you need so much - swimsuit and sarong
well maybe not just bring a rain coat
                                  :'(
I was 3 kilo over on hand luggage , when i agreed to pay the girl made a phn call and i got away not paying.  If you are early checking in they prob. will let you off - they make up rules as they go along.

I weighed my 3 cases in my room before leaving for home this year (4kgs under total weight allowed) At the airport the greek check in girl weighed the cases on and told me I owed 72 Euros for being overweight. (I had noted down the weights again from the same scales she used to weigh my cases). I told her to retrieve my cases because I want them re-weighing and I'm refusing to pay unless she does so. A quick chat with her colleague and she waved us through.

Keep your eye out for this everyone and don't take the check in girls notes as being accurate just because she said so.

We plan to get married in san stef in 2 years

Got engaged there this year.

Plan to be a small family ceremony, just us and parents.

How stressful ?   ??? ??? ??? ???

We got married earlier this year in SS. Over 30 guests. Sally helped us from start to finish was a pleasure to work with. There was absolutely no stress involved compared to a uk wedding. Just choose your location, colour schemes etc and leave the rest to Sally Noula and Cerys.

We basically chose our menu, cake, venue and colours and they organised the rest (with our input of course).

Whether it is a small ceremony or a large extravagant ceremony you are after, Sally will take of you from start to finish.

Filling out a few documents really shouldn't be stressfull and can all be done in good time prior to even setting foot in Corfu.

Where to stay / Re: Jasmine apartment & pool bar

Directly next door to the perros, to the right as you look from the road. They are a completely seperate hotel and not affiliated to the perros as far as I'm aware.

We managed to book 4 (yes four!) apartments at the Tsaros last year when the website was showing only 1  apartment remaining.  :o Also had a similar thing happen when booking the Romanza for others this year.

Hi Sunshinegirl. I was not referring to you in my comment, and certainly meant no offence. As far as I am concerned, Thomson have always provided me with good service, otherwise I would not use them. I personally have had several excellent holidays at Voulas appartments, but this is no longer available via Thomson. There are always reasons for these changes, and Thomson will always try and reduce costs. So do our supermarkets, but this does not seem to attract the same adverse comment!

You mean reduce their own costs ie increase their profit? Because they certainly are not trying to reduce costs for us, their customers. The scare tactics that thomsons use with the "hurry only 1 room remaining" is borderline bribery to their loyal customers who return to the same accommodation year on year.

Does anyone actually buy from him twice? We certainly won't 14euros for some watermelon last year. Never again.

Did you actually hand over the cash?

Sorry but there is no way I would hand over that kind of money for some slices of fruit.
