Right Now - Severe Thunderstorm in CORFU.
RUNWAY FLOODED SO BADLY, ALL Current Planes Diverted to Kefalonia!!!
Don has Landed in Kefalonia and they have to sit on the plane.
He will advise me again by Text of any changes!

Oh no!! Thats a shame.
Its been real stormy overnight and again this morning. Heavy rain, lightening and very LOUD thunder! Not raining right now. Sun trying to come out but still think there's more on the way!

bet poor old zimmer needed a clean pair of draws he must of had a mistic meg momment when he told us he didnt like thunder it was awful in somerset in the night i have never seen it so bad

Good grief poor Don & Sandra, One take off and one landing too many for me :'( :'( :'( not keen on the flying bit myself.
Hope Zimmer has landed OK with clean undies !!!!!
At least they are there now xxx Tell Glenn to pour them a double to calm their nerves.

i am ok if i am sat near the front don't know why but coming back this time we were by the wings on a bumpy flight circled bristol not very happy but you have to do it

I am surprised that Easyjet didn't dump them there - Rob'nair would have done and charged them for an excursion!!

The airport problems must have been severe as the 13:00 flight to leeds/bradford due in at 14:30 british time yesterday didn't land while 07:39 this morning.Thomson laid on another plane to take the outgoing passengers which took off aprox 4hrs late yesterday evening

Yes they were, the runway was flooded, and being built on re-claimed land out in the sea,
I suspect that maybe they had some wash-over as well, which stopped the torrential rain from draining away!
Don was diverted and delayed 3 hours until it rectified!

Do you know the Goldfish song - @around and around and around@ ? well that was us yesterday, three times around the island, and circling San Stef, by then I had enough JD's to be quite aneathitised, so brown trousers werent required ha ha, but at least we were'nt diverted and arrived at SS more or less as I expected at about 15.15
Weather today has been cloudy and quite mild but is now hotting up and I\'m just off down the Star something to watch the game
