I got a picture texted on to me on 20th December from one of our friends who stay at the Nafskia and usually pop up to the Gravia to see Kostas, his girlfriend gave birth to a baby daughter :) :)

Out and About / Re: Beach
« on: May 06, 2015, 02:36:04 PM »
Just looked at the beach on the San Stefano's Travel website and the beach is now looking good. the River that was meandering past the Waves has been straightened out.

Sea is really calm at the moment and no sign of any seaweed  :)

I feel your frustration Tony.

I have ''free' insurance through my Bank account too. However due to my heart attack last September they wont cover me now for my medical condition.

After a few knock backs I've not got yearly cover for the sum of £300.00 which covers a Caribbean holiday and a week in Corfu in September. I'm hoping it will come down a bit next year when we will be staying local i.e. our normal 2 weeks in San Stefano in July and a week somewhere else in the Med later in the summer.

Cant remember the name of the company as it was through an insurance broker, I'll check the documentation and let you know.

Yup great news about George. We were out in July when he was housebound and frankly it didn't look good. Must be a great relief to Spiros and Theodora to see George on the mend.

All being well looking forward to seeing him next season.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Zest for Life Juice bar
« on: August 26, 2014, 07:52:20 PM »
Just heard the sad news that Shane and Sandra from the Zest for Life juice bar have decided to hang up their aprons and retire after this season. They plan to downsize their home, buy a camper van and tour Australia.

I’m sure everyone on here will want to wish them all the best and say thanks for their warm friendship to all who ate there. They provided the best home made juices, cakes and baguettes in the village.

Personally, we will really miss the friendly “hello Steven and Nicki” we would always get when walking round from the Nafsika each day.

Wishing them all the best on their travels, a wee bit of San Stefanos will not be the same again  :(

We tried it a few days ago and agree, really friendly service and the food was great too. The restaurant was busy too which is good to see

Would certainly recommend it.

Enjoying your updates ... keep them coming  :)

4 weeks on Monday until we arrive, looks like its been unseasonably cool and wet in May so hoping its more settled when we arrive - I'm sure it will be.

That one sounds interesting - Might look into this one when we arrive in under 5 weeks time   :)
