They didn't have them last year! We usually sat on the balcony and let nature take it's course. Have a good time and let us all know about it later?

Very rare in S S to get a hair-dryer in your room, we always take a travel one!

Always used to take a hairdryer with us but in the last few years we have just decided to do without.

I always visit the hairdressers before coming away on holiday. A number four all over and problem solved. Never dared to ask for a number two all over! LOL

Don, I thought you had had a zero across the top and a No.4 across the rest - LOL
I usually have a No. 2 - up the sides and back, and the top lot scissored until it spikes up,
then it's a case of - "who needs a hairdryer"!! LOL

We could always take Kenneth Norman Oswald Brown with them. He'd spout enough hot air to dry out the whole resort!

I heard that K N O Brown is not really welcome back in the resort, as according to local information,
he bored them rigid, with his mantra! Only time will tell!!

Hairdryers only take up to much room anyway in an already overcrowded suitcase. :)

Hi all, well we had a lovely time in San Stef, but have to say we were very disappointed with the Stamatis.  Nice big apt but horrible bathroom, really small for 4 of us and disgusting shower with a shower curtain that you couldn't get away from, it just stuck to you wherever you stood or sat!  The balcony could have been nice but it had horrible green plastic all over it.  The owner was very grumpy too.
Luckily we moved to the Delfino for our second week which totally blew us away.  Well worth the extra money and lovely and clean.

I think you were just unlucky on this occasion!
Every Apartment in S S, that we have stayed in over the years, and thats been a lot, has been really clean.
Some were older some brand new - but always clean!
But as a lot of people have also previously said, we spend little time in the Apartment.
We wash, maybe eat breakfast and sleep there.
The extra luxury of the surroundings in the Delfino - to me (just my opinion) - are not worth paying the extra!
For that equates to the price of several nights and meals out! - Money better invested! I like a good deal!!
After all - most people are only there in SS for a week or two!!
I could even put up with sticky shower curtains for that length of time!
Also - as per the many previous reports on the Delfino, the meals there are reported as nothing special for the money!

Anyone else agree - disagree?

As a Recent returner from Stamatis I have to say I find the studios very cramped. Nowhere else have we had to shut the French windows to open the wardrobe.
The shower curtains were fun. It was set on a rail that was positioned a good 3 inches outside the shower tray. It then finished a good 18 inches from the floor. I know that I'm not the most rotund of folk but there was no way my 14 stone could have made contact with the curtain. It does I suppose depend how many use it at a time!
Tom the owner was brilliant. Asked for extra pillows, provided within minutes. As we couldn't keep on our Thomson room he allowed us to use one of his "private" apartments for free to shower and change in. As others have said before a holiday apartment is for sleeping, changing and showering.

On a further note Good Day Sunshine it was great to meet you both. Hope to meet again.

Don, what did Tom say?
Was it - "come into my private apartment and shower - would you like a sweetie little boy?" LOL
Paint's a picture - doesn't it!!  :o ::)
