We tend to use Spiros and Donna's Sun-loungers which last year were in front of the Havana.

we tend to spend most of the time round the pool but like to go for a walk on the beach and just stay for a dip but this time we will have a day on the beach by the havana bar

That's where we parked ourselves last year - she's a nice, friendly girl who immediately set up a rapport with us. Gave us a real nice welcome.
we tended to alternate days between Teresa's pool and the beach.
This June we're staying at Fedre Mare, which is close to the other end of the beach, and as we like lunch some days at Waves i reckon we might not always venture as far as the Havana Bar end.

Not really beach people but like an afternoon waters edge paddle from Manthos to Athina then end up with a drink at Glenn's.

We prefer the beach foremost as more going on for avid people watchers - and you do see some funny things!! LOL

You can usually find us in front of the life guard thingy!!! near the waters edge.
Good view of Leo from there girls !!!!!!!
Best place for people watching as Tony said and there are some rare sights to be seen ::) ::) ::)

and that's a fact!! - Don walks past in his sandals socks and nappy-type shorts most days, plus his Mythos yellow T-shirt!!
while Sandra sashay's past in a silk mono-kini!! LOL

With you there SueLa - we always park near the beach bar - main reason being not too far to go every time one of the kids wants an Ice cream - as well as gr8 view of Leo xxx

Leo watching is the new people watching for us girls - and at least we don't hide behind mirrored sunspecs to do it!! :)

He's called "Lofty", so he is either 5' tall or 7' tall - what do you think??

I'll definately be heading to the nudist part to work on my all over tan. If the beach is too far in the heat from the Romanza then I'll have to find a quiet spot by the pool

The beach is about 100 metres away from the Romanza - - - straight down the cliff - - straight onto the start of the Nudist area!
There is a way down - - and back up - - so if the legs are strong - - no problem.
If you want to work on that all-over tan at the Romanza - just ask that well known PR man & Nudist entrepreneur, Yannis,
for tips on where to let it all hang out at the Romanza!! LOL

I went to a big hotel in Fuerteventura once. The hotel was massive and we arrived late at night.
The next morning I thought I'd go for a wander to acclimatise to my surroundings.
I turned a corner to be confronted by the sight of around 50 naked Germans lounging about by the pool!!!
The hotel had a special pool for nude bathing........Anyone think I should adopt this stance at the Romanza??!!

You may get away with that stance there but don't go to Mykonos and try it!

Now he has lost over 2 stone in weight the sand dunes won't have to be so big this year ::) ::) ::)

Our favorite part is the Romanza end of the beach,Always seems quieter and with less seaweed.

We always plonk ourselves at the end of all the sunbeds further towards the nudist area past the Havana Beach bar - arh.... don't like thinking about it I JUST WANT TO BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may be lulled into a false sense of security. thinking that they have large Yellow Flowers growing in the reeds BEWARE :o :o :o it will be Don in his Yellow Shirt 8) 8) 8)

We used to use sun beds in front of the Athena but we got fed up of people not paying for sunbeds and plonking themselves right in front of us, so we moved up and used beds in front of the Havana we find it quieter there. Did i read on here that the caravan is no longer there?
