San Stefanos Online ~ North West Corfu

It just arrived-now I can go to bed happy -well apart from wondering if the taxi will remember to pick us up at 5am! Ah, the joys of being a whittle-ar*e, as my mum used to call me!
Thanks for putting up with me, I don't have a smart phone so can't update from SS (unless I can wrestle Hubby's off him, when he's doing his fantasy NFL team! ) but I'll tell you what it was like when I get back (assuming we remember to fill in our UK forms...)

Thanks all of you-I will put all these to Steve and see which he thinks-he has done the walk up and over to Arillas in a previous (wife-free) life so we'll see how long he thinks he can tolerate my moaning for! 
Of course if he really loved me he would give me a piggy back up the hill...

Don't steal our sunshine! We are coming out Monday (Bojo -willing!) although I must admit I can't get excited yet as I am still convinced it will go boobs-up at the last minute!! I think I will get excited when the wheels touch down on the tarmac at Corfu airport! Thanks for the report-it helps us decide where we will go to eat  each night

Thanks Karen. I am currently sitting at my desk at work looking at google maps of SS and picturing us there! Fingers crossed they can hold off locking us out for at least another week!

We put "Main Street" for the Vicky! Well it is the main Street in San Stef isn't it? 

We never got into Manthos as there was no menu for us to peruse so we didn't bother!
Funnily enough we have similar issues at Waves-like the menu, love the location but there has always been one chap there who acts like he's doing us a big favour letting us eat there so we stopped bothering! So strange when everyone else welcomes us with open arms. Our faves would be ;

Little Prince-Steve loves their sizzling steak, the dish you can wear as well as eat....

Honourable mention to the bakery for their pain au chocolate-I don't know what sort of chocolate they use in them but it tastes like "Old Jamaica"....My favourite memories from last year were eating them for brekkie on the balcony overlooking the Vicky pool and the sea, and just thinking-"It doesn't get better than this"....
