Hi We are thinking of staying at the Sunset Studios in San Stef - Any info on these studios would be greatly appreciated i.e are they in a quiet location but central to everything. I have had a look on the map and not sure if you have to walk up a big hill to get to places at night. Also are they far to walk at night to the main part of San Stef. Not sure looking on the map where the main area is in the evening. We want to be able to just walk into the centre at night but not up and down great big hills - Any info greatly appreciated.
Also what is the beach like as it sounds like a long beach so any advice as to which end of the beach is the nicest would also be helpful and also are the Sunset Studios easy to reach for the beach Thanks a lot

The Sunset are in a superb location - they are at the end of the main road where the bars and restaurants are, there is no hill to climb and directly opposite is a small supermarket and near to all the other shops.
The food at the Sunset is delicious and Spiros really looks after you -the breakfasts are highly recommended.
It is a lovely resort and the beach is nice and clean, we chose to use the end near Havana Beach Bar but the whole of the beach is nice and safe.
I am sure you will love San Stefanos and if you fancy an excellent greek night - Manthos Restaurant cant be beat on Saturday night. ::) :D

Hi merlin, you'll find Sunset Taverna and Apartments on page 3 of the map. It also gives a great view of the beach.

If you go further along the beach (off the bottom, appropriately, of the map) is a nudist area.
Spiros and family are great people and will look after you really well, as does everyone else in San Stef, to make sure you have a great time!! :)
-
Just be careful Merlin - because Zoe haunts the Nudist beach!! LOL
I can also back up what was said above regarding the sunset - great family and a brilliant Taverna - food delicious!
-
tony are you trying to put the poor man off :) dont worry merlin all is covered we were told the sunset is also including the transport from the airpot in the price as well as a great price for the rooms
-
That'd be good news concerning the transfers as Spiros packed up doing them the summer after we'd stayed at Kathy's Studios across the road. Spiros let them as well as the ones next door.
-
whats an airpot zoe lol.

Hi Merlin 40. We have just booked to stay at sunset appts they are in great location and no hills to walk to them. Spiro and family are lovely people and nothing is to much trouble, he will pick you up from airport or send a taxi for you.

Spiros can be contacted by using the details on this website........
Have stayed there many many times including Sunset Studios, Blue Dream and Kathys. Spiros and his family are wonderful people and will always look after you. Sunset aren't the most modern apartments in SanStef but they are clean, tidy and the family make a point of ensuring you are happy. The Blue Dream and Kathys are more modern with aircon available for an additional cost.

I cant recommend Sunset Studios,Spiros and all his family enough, six years ago Mo my other half had a heart attack while we were at Ss.the whole family were incredible towards me taking me to the hospital, sending edible food for Mo because the food was disgusting, gave me a room for an extra week and even ringing the hospital on the mainland when he was transferred for a angiogram and angioplasty, they are the best.

Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments about Sunset. We have now booked for two weeks in June and have also booked our flights. They dont include the transfers in the price but they will organise transportatin for you at an extra cost of about £50 euros each way. They have aircon or ceiling fans in the rooms and this is included in the price which is very reasonable. Really looking forward to it as this will be our first time to San Stafanos and our second to Corfu as we stayed at Agios Gordios in the SW this year and really enjoyed it.

Good choice for both resort and accomodation Merlin. You will have a fab time.
-
Yes we will consider his Apartments next year as well!
(Not planning on any serious illness though!!) - touch wood!!
-
Hi Tony, hope you're all feeling better. Touch wood.......not even gonna go there!! hehe! ;D
