Happy New Year Jackie, Pete and Bod. Good to see you back in San Stef and blogging.
Our Hannah and Richard moved in to their new house recently and your Mythos Bottle Cap has a place on their wall. Richard and Hannah then got engaged Cristmas Day, and my Debbie is over the moon. Things are moving at a pace now so don't be surprised if we all turn up in 2015 for a wedding!

We wisn everyone we know and associated with San Stefanos a Wonderful New Year.

Thanks jackie. That was lovely and even brought a tear to this old geezer.
Travel safe to Wiltshire and return to keep us all updated on the village.

Deb and I also stayed at the Arcadion back in May. Lovely bed, best location, balcony views and, to Debbie's delight, a bath.
Last month we tried the Bella Venezia Hotel and found similar qualities, although slightly further away from the fort. But a lovely area outside for a really good breakfast. But as Debbie pointed out....no bath:'(

Both hotels were not cheap, but when you are on holiday....

Information and help please / Re: Corfu Town

We always have lunch at the Corfu Sailing Club when we bus down from San Stefanos for a few days. It's down the side of the fortress, and you have to pay a few Euros to get in to there as you probably know, but it's well worth it.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: Summer Dreams.
« on: August 03, 2014, 01:10:54 PM »
I don't know why Summer Dreams doesn't get mentioned very often. We've been many times, and it's always good.
Mediterranean Village doesn't get mentioned much either and Sofie's cooking is a little bit special.

It's why people keep coming back.
It's also good to read What's Happenin' in the village. We can all associate with it?

Sorry to hear about the strained back....ouch! A massage from your other half will help :)
Debbie and I look at webcam shots daily and see the beach pretty busy nowadays. We've walked that stretch so many, many times. Lovely memories!
Can't wait to return 1st September.

Best wishes to all our friends in the village

San Stefanos news and views / Re: end of September
« on: July 06, 2014, 12:42:29 PM »
We were there end of September last year for two weeks. It was hot and sunny initially but my lady needed a an extra layer at night. You may get the occasional thunderstorms and heavy rain, but then the sun comes out an fit just becomes a talking point.
