I'm not wishing to start anything contentious or grumpy (and it won't stop us going) but do you think we'll have 'rubbishgate' again this year?

San Stefanos news and views / Unwanted Guests

Did anyone have any unwanted guests this year? We were staying at Peli and Marias and had :
- gecko in the kitchen. Luckily there was a gap under the door so we were able to guide him out that way.
- huuuge grasshopper thingy came into the bedroom and parked itself on my white linen trousers which were hanging on the outside of the wardrobe (got him out with help from the neighbours and their sieve!!)
- great big snake on the slope. As we were walking down the slope one evening a great big snake slithered out in front of us. It went and hid under an inflatable outside Peli and Maria's shop. Hubby went to take a photo and it then slid out across the path. there were quite a few people watching, wondering what we were doing/looking at!
Spider stories are not welcome !

Thomson flights from Norwich 2 July £479 (each) for 2 weeks but drop to £327 at end of July i.e. in school holidays. Random?!

Out and About / Quiet Pool

We love the beach but I might be able to persuade hubby to have a day or two at a pool. Which would be the quietest pool e.g. no kids? (no offense intended to anyone, I just don't want kiddies running around) Thanks

Out and About / Beach towels on last day

We have an evening flight so can have 2-3 hours on the beach on the last day but don't want to pack wet beach towels. I am thinking of buying cheapos from Primark (£4 each), alternate using them with our good ones - then good ones don't get so crusty and can use the cheapies on the last day and then throw them away. Still feel bad about the waste though. Any other ideas? ( don't say "don't have a swim!)

Thomson flights for 2 adults to Ibiza from Norwich next July £429, Thomson Flights for 2 adults to Corfu £937 - it's not that much further 
? Same airline as well. Flight code starts with ST so not sure who that is (Thomson used Germania last year)

Hi there. If you are flying from Norwich you will know that Thomsons have now outsourced to Germanic Airlines. They are also doing the Ibiza flights - and we went last week. Just wanted to let you know that Germanic were on time, very efficient and very friendly (and amusing pronunciation of Norwich 
)
