Title: best week we could have had!!!!
Post by: claret and blue on July 12, 2011, 06:09:53 PM: were back!!!! what a lovely chilled out place san stef is....from start to finish it was great.....the people of san stef are very friendly,warm and will do anything for you...
the kapatanios apts were fab...very clean and well looked after and it was quiet and some days we shared the pool with about 4 othere couples!!!! great....was just starting to get busier when we were leaving..school holidays are starting!!!!
we didnt have one bad meal in all he week we were there...we ate at
mythica-twice--fantastic food and staff.....
nafsika-lovely food and view.....
zorbas-greek dancing and good food
yannis-friendly people and again good food
olympia--my hubbys favourite..couldnt fault a thing...
fantasea----beautiful views and sunsets....our least fave but still ok..
what more can i say ....we had a laugh in the condor with a michael jackson tribute!!!!! he was white!!!!!!!
we also went on "pub crawl" and tried various bars...all great....

although we only went for a week we met fab people and tried to do as much as we could....it is a place we will defo be going back too...this time of year is just right for us...FANTASTIC PLACE.... :) :)

the week did go quick but felt at home as soon as we got there...i have put photo.s on my facebook page and all my friends are asking about it ...how lovely and peaceful it looks...
don....we must ave walked past each othere at some point???
having holiday blues now....really enjoyed it :( :(

Post by: Karen on July 16, 2011, 06:08:32 PM: Just back yesterday from a fortnight. Had a fantastic time even though it was our 8th time there. We struggled with the heat and humidity the last few days, but still did not want to come home. Prices hadn't altered much in our opinion. Ate at the Nafisika, as always. They have a new chef there and the food was even better than the previous years. Had drinks in Bar 38, Condor and finishing at Athens bar, which was just over the road from where we were staying. The beach was lovely and quite wide and the sea was like a luke warm bath. Most days it was very still. As Lesley commented in another thread, please be wary in the current heat and keep in the shade with a cool drink or ice cream! Happy hols to everyone! ;)
