Title: Currency exchange
Post by: Jules on July 29, 2013, 12:07:48 PM
Does anyone think that the rate of exchange will change much in the next week or so. I have been looking online today and Thomas Cook and Co-op Travel are at €1.137 followed by Travelex and The Post Office at €1.133. Others not to dissimilar but Thomsons are the lowest at €1.110

We always use travel fx and if you spend £500 they deliver it free next day - we have used them for years and find it really easy to do.  Rate this morning was 1.15

I've never seen anybody have a better rate than TravelFX. We got ours at 1.1633

Is travelfx the one at the airport?

No. Travelex. Handy, but probably very bad rate at the airport. Much better to buy in advance.

I think you can buy in advance and collect at the airport!
Sure we did that once

Thats almost £10 difference if you buy £500 worth - between the Co-op rate and TravelFX
But Hey!! better in your pocket than theirs..
