Title: Norwich flights
Post by: Teamnickos on June 05, 2014, 08:03:08 PM
Hi there. If you are flying from Norwich you will know that Thomsons have now outsourced to Germanic Airlines. They are also doing the Ibiza flights - and we went last week. Just wanted to let you know that Germanic were on time, very efficient and very friendly (and amusing pronunciation of Norwich  :D )

Is it?    I was told it was like San Stefanos was about ten years ago.  Will let you know about our European friends when we return.

There's even a belly-dancer. Never seen one of those in San Stef. (Well - I've seen a few candidates on the beach!)

Hi.  We visited St George South last year and are returning again on the 23rd June, we loved it.  Very similar to San Stefanos, but flatter!  Not sure about the Germans? Maybe this is St George North?

Norwich airport just been bought by Rigby Group from Omniport. I suppose they will not dump the abhorrent airport 'development' tax ::)

Hi Swedebasher      Just been reading The Eastern Daily Press  ( Online ) about Norwich Airport sale  and they say the ADF is an integral part of the airports profitability    In other words it's staying .

Yes Richard, I saw the new bloke on About Anglia last night saying it was part of their 'business model'. Anybody other side of Thetford will be better off going to Stansted, so how can putting people off coming to NIA be a good business model? I guess the 460,000 passengers at £10 a head means the £4.6Mill that Omniport bequeathed them is too good to lose.
Thank you Omniport, you brought in car parking at NCP eye watering rates when it used to be £5 a week, and introduced this infernal tax at £3, then £5, then £10. Also not much sign of any meaningful alterations structurally to show for it, so I hope your company loss was cleared by this tax. Rant over for now!!
