Hello
We had our first trip to San Stefanos this time last year, we stayed in the Barras. We loved it so much we are coming back again, staying at the Barras again but doing 2 weeks this time.
We only really did restaurants at the top of the resort so looking to head further down towards the beach this year along the road to the harbour. I appreciate all restaurants are good but any you would really recommend, I'm not 100% sure what is down there. We have an 8 year old son with ASD and ADHD so looking for somewhere not to manic or loud (however he had no problems with Greek nights at Zorba or Little Prince last year or live groups at Condor).
TIA

Hello, I'd recommend Waves and Nafsika. Beachcomber is lovely - more upmarket. Enjoy.
-
I agree with all of those. But would also add Mistral - the food is great and, like Waves, it's right on the beach. And, of course, Manthos.
The pace of life is much more traditional in the old village. There is excellent food everywhere - some of the best in the village, in our opinion - and a sense of easy calm which we prefer to the flashing lights of the newer part.
-
We love Nafsika, we eat there every night, away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The staff are great and the food is delicious :)
-
And don't forget Fantasea by the church.
-
To my mind that part of the village is the best especially for the variety and quality of the taverna's/restaurants and the noise levels are greatly reduced as well.
-
Nafsica and Fantasea are musts for me
Kamini bar great for a drink (situated between the 2)
-
Jackie reckons that Kamini Bar serves best wine in the village.
-
In my experience the quality of the wine appears to go up the more you drink!

In mine too, Jim! :)

Agree with all the above (especially about the wine!). Beer Oclock is very good too but maybe too compact for a lively 8 year old

Brilliant. Thank you for all the ideas. We didn't gone down the road at all apart from to the beach. Looks like a left turn is on the cards. :)
