Easy mate...just run your knife along the belly and lift, you should then be able to lift off the backbone

i have to agree with helen

manthos has fresh fish every day you even have to go and select which one you want

chris
Is that whilst the fish is still alive ????????????

That used to be the case, we went to Kos in '78 and chose a fish from the aquarium, dont see the problem myself

We always only take cash as well and always hire a safety deposit box at our apartments.

cash? is that Euro or sterling? I normally take Euro's and some sterling for the taxi to/from Cardiff airport, I use a card at the airport and on the flight

Information and help please / Re: Euro rate in 2009

The best thing about the €uro is that we have a drawer full from previous years when we were getting anything up to €1.40. Not planned but at least we have a good start.

...and your address is?.........

Out and About / Re: The taxis of San Stef
« on: April 13, 2009, 07:29:25 PM »
When we asked last year we were told that there were no locally based taxis. We would have to phone Sidari and pay for it to come from there.

So probably walking back from Arillas at night would be difficult then?
You can walk back along the road as long as you watch out for any cars which will probably be few and far between. The roads are not that busy. Not difficult at all as long you don't try the headland route. :)

is it hilly? and how long at moferate pace
