The beach looks lovely without all the sunbeds and umbrellas and there's hardly a ripple on the sea. Just beautiful!

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: Olympia Restaurant.
« on: September 04, 2024, 05:41:15 PM »
Yes they're open, doing a slimmed down menu but still excellent food.
When I was there in June with my family Vasilis went to the trouble of making briam for my vegetarian granddaughter and her husband as there wasn't a vegetarian option on the menu.

Jim would have contacted Spiros by now but I've reported it ,let's see how long it takes to fix it.
Lovely to see people on the beach and a few brave souls venturing into the sea. The beach has been tidied up and the pebbles removed from outside Manthos.
I'm the subject of Manthos, Andreas has replaced the old toilets with fancy new ones. Hope there is more than one cubicle each for the men and ladies, hate queuing.

Where to stay / Re: Pandora Apartments.
« on: October 29, 2023, 01:13:55 PM »
I stayed here many years ago.  I believe they have been updated since then. Some belong to Stefanos (Condor) and the others to Fantasea. I think you will find them comfortable and handy for the beach and local tavernas.
Never understood why they didn't do anything with the old Pandoras underneath.

The cliff at the far end of the beach is on fire, hope it doesn't spread!

Geordie it was still quite busy, lots of visitors from other parts of the island enjoying the lovely beach and tavernas.

Got back last Thursday, feels like months ago, lovely weather.punctuated by an early morning thunderstorm. Had a few power cuts, not unusual, but inconvenient when you've just applied shampoo and the water reduces to a trickle.
Didn't get a single mosquito bite and I don't use anything fancy just Odomos cream and plugins in the room, and ,ladies, I always wear perfume in the evening. Can't explain it, they just don't seem to like me. Is it my blood group or the B12 injections every three months or the fact that I don't drink beer?
Wasps were minimal due to the poor grape harvest. The cold , wet Spring to blame.
That mast you can see on the beach webcam supports a canopy on the terrace at Manthos. You can just about see it on the Nafsica webcam.
