Title: Towels and air con
Post by: julesr on June 29, 2008, 05:21:47 PM
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if towels are provided at the Teresa apartments and how much is charged for air conditioning?

Thanks!

Hi julesr
Towels are provided. In our room we normally have 2 small bath towels and 2 handtowels although we tend to use our own as they are much softer. Last year we had aircon and a safety deposit box and it was approx €70 for the fortnight. It is well worth it in our opinion.

So to get air con does one of you sleep while the other wafts a towel and then change over?

If it was we would save the €70. We have to have the aircon as I can't sleep when it is to hot. I remember one year we must have accidently put it on to 16 degrees and we both woke up freezing cold. Couldn't get back to sleep for ages.

Air conditioning is available at the Mythos apartments at a cost of €7 per day.
However, most people didn't bother as you can close the shutter doors at an angle which allows a breeze to come in. The other impressive thing is that the double glazing door have a mosquito (sp) net attached. You just pull this down and lock it in place and Bob's your uncle, mossie free nights!!  8)

Hi Julesr,

We had our first visit to SS on the 15th June and stayed at the Tereza.  We only stopped for a week and paid 42 euros for air con and a safe.  The towels were changed twice in that time.  The air con did pack up on one occasion but Fanis fixed it within the hour.  We had a great time in SS and would definately return to Tereza the guys there are great and everyone was so friendly. :)

Romanza air-con was 35 per week, our towels were changed too many times to bother counting and they received a brand spankin' new shipment of them while we were there.

Some apartments are now being built without the flyscreens fitted to keep out mozzies - thats not good!!
