San Stefanos news and views / Re: transfers
« on: August 04, 2010, 09:19:01 PM »
We have booked a transfer with Noula at ss travel, for this Friday. Our transfer is included but we had a such a good experience the last time we came 2 years ago, when the transfer wasn't included, we thought we would pay for a hassle free transfer. The driver was waitnig for us with a sign and we shared the mini bus ride (and cost) with another family. We went straight to the resort which took about 1 hour. We went to see Noula the next day to pay. Having children to consider I can't risk a 2-3 hour journey.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: Vegetarian food
« on: July 27, 2010, 09:30:47 PM »
I agree that this one of the best resorts i have been to for vegetarian food. Myself and my 2 sons are vegetarian and we had plenty to choose from. I was particularly impressed with the 2** - the veg moussaka was great. Tereza's do lovely omelettes and cheese salads. Town pizza is great and you can never go wrong with a greek salad, some bread and wine. Heaven!!

Where to stay / Sharing transfer 6th Aug.

Hi. We are flying from Bristol next Friday arriving at 19.45. We have booked a transfer with Nuala at san stef travel and was wondering if anyone else wants to share, as then the cost (53 euro) is spilt. It's very simple to arrange you can email Nuala and she will do the rest. You also get there in an hour rather than 2 hours or more on the coach.

« on: July 27, 2010, 07:46:51 PM »
I can hardly believe we will be in San stef next Friday. Can't wait!! We have stayed at the Teraza apartments before but this year we are going to be in the b&b block. Can anyone tell me if they are the same as far as facilities? I presume they have towels, air con etc.
Thankyou. ;D

Hi. Yes you are right the family are great aren't they. We are vegetarian and they are always happy to help us. Even something as simple as the cheese salad is gorgeous and my kids love their omlettes. Can't wait to go back, only 13 months to go!!

Where to stay / Teresa apartments
« on: July 02, 2009, 06:49:35 PM »
Hi. I have posted this question recently, so sorry for repeating myself, but I haven't received an answer. We have stayed in the sc building and had a 2 bed apartment. The b&b rooms say they are a family room. Does this mean they are 1 room with beds for 4 people or 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each?
Thanks  :D

Where to stay / Re: Teresa apartments b&b
« on: June 30, 2009, 09:40:53 PM »
Hi everyone! After a break from San stef for this years summer hols (we bought a house) we're going back next year. I have been checking out prices for the Teresa apartments and, flying from Bristol, it's cheaper to go with Portland b&b, than it is to go self catering with Thompson.
As we have only done sc at the Teresa before, can anyone tell me what the b&b building is like, eg sea view, balcony etc and also what the breakfasts are like. I was thinking if we had a big breakfast we could save money on just having a snack for lunch. We are a family of 4 so would have the 2 bed apartment.
Thanks for your help. ;D
Also , just realised that it is a family room rather than the 2 bed apartment we had in the self catering building. Does this literally mean the 4 of us in one room?

Only 2 days to go!  I can hardly believe we're going as it seems we've been waiting forever for the 1st August. I need some sun, the weather here is horrible.

We're flying from Bristol getting in at 19.25.  Our transfers are not included (booked with Thomson) so have arranged a taxi with San stefanos travel. Have you got a transfer?
