Not stayed at Kapetanios but have visitied for a drink, as it is part way up the hill it has some fantastic views.

Out and About / Whats new in San Stef 2009?

When we were there last year Stef (condoe bar) was just building his new shop opposite. There was also talk of the building on the corner of the road leading to the Athena being opened up as a shop for 2009. That place has been empty since we started going in 1995.
Has this happened or is there anything new for 2009?

Jules, thats the exact reason for returning year after year.
We did a spanish island one year and hated it. Don't do throwing towels on sunbeds. Not my scene.

It's a bit of a standing joke with Aristoula as we told her she needed to have more snacks for the kids to eat i.e choc, crisps, etc so they did,t keep running down to Georges supermarket of 2 sisters. That way Arisitouls could make a little more profit.
Turns out the choc she bought when were there last year never got sold, so I am in big trouble.

We try to learn a little more every year, even tried to get a MUZZY language course in Greek but BBC say no call for it. So back to the dodgy american bloke trying to teach me Greek in the car cd.

Zorbas - great food, great staff and dancing as well.
Olympia - Nice to eat as a special night out for a family meal.
The Paradise - Always always made so welcome. Great boys and family run.
Condor - well it keeps the kids entertained while we have a snack
Not forgetting Stami's Town Pizza. made to order any style you want. eat in take away.
We are a family of 5 with kids from aged 5 to 12 so have to accomodate all.
On saying that we have been taking the kids to SS for years, the youngest 5 will be on his 6th visit this year.

Have stayed in both Roda and San Stef and San Stef wins by miles. Hope you think so too.
Enjoy your birthday. We have two birthdays and a wedding anniversay to celebrate - I feel a hangover coming on already!!!!!!!!!!!!
we are due to stay at Olga in August. Say hello to Aristoula for me when you get there and tell her I want my chocolate bars in the fridge. Ian and Sarah
