hmm, i've stood there too a few times this year mulling over it. the thing that fascinates me is the drop in height over, say, 5 years. the Havana was never that "high" then. The football pitch was maybe 2 feet up, its dropped 5/6 feet.

There has to be a cause, the building work seems a logical cause given the pinpoint area, but why is bemusing. Logically you'd think any erosion would be at the Manthos end, but that end was in good nick this year.

Mrs Abbo and I are going to run the Kassiopi Half-Marathon on April 17th next year, and I'd expect we'd make it a long-weekend trip. Will anywhere in San Stef be open, i.e cafes / tavernas?

I saw some of Jackies beautiful Hippopots work in the form of personalized ceramic placemats for the wedding held at Akrotiri / Waves this week. If I remember correctly it was 70+ handwritten placemarkers, all amazing

Second worse to babies is somebody who wants to tell you their entire boring life story.

Yeah sorry about that  ;)

I'm looking at staying these apts next month, but (as a San Stef regular) cant figure out for the life of me how you get to the apartments.

Say I'm stood outside the Olive Press (now Beer O'Clock), where do I walk?

Cheers

Absolutely delighted the beach is in order this year before half-term, it was a shame last year as we brought 5 newbies and they all wanted to be in Arillas. Great work!

The weather forecast models look fantastic for the next 10 days so those early raiders are in for a real treat.

I see on RightMove that Nondas 12 apartments et al are up for sale at €450,000. So you'd reckon €400,000 would seal a deal.

Cracking opportunity if you ask me.

Thoughts?

Well I hope the seaweed problem is dealt with before the season this year, not in June like last year. It was awful and we had newcomers with us. They wanted to use Arillas beach as a result
