I think everybody including the tour operators simply don't know what to do. A change from green to orange wouldn't be too bad, but from orange to red would be financially catastrophic. We'll go in September if it's green, but absolutely not if it's orange. The rules re Portugal have just demonstrated how quickly things can change.

The government said there would be a green  watch list, giving 2weeks notice of countries moving off the green list, that hasn't happened for Portugal and to be honest, if infection rates rise quickly, they shouldn't wait 2 weeks to make changes. We just have to accept that countries can be moved to amber or red, at a few days notice..

and lots of sunbeds on the beach though I can't see anyone using them at the mo.

It's nice to see them out.let's hope they get used soon!

TUI holidays now starting from 21st June.. makes no sense if we're not having a review for 3 weeks..24th June..
