Title: Manchester Airport
Post by: Jules on August 23, 2009, 11:39:24 AM
Can anyone tell me if all the shops are open after you have gone through passport control (at about 5am)? We are thinking Boots as last year we bought a meal deal in there to eat on the plane for about £3.50 as we don't bother with the in flight meals.

hi Jules,

Our flight changed from MAy to a 6am flight, so we were through passport control early too.

We fly from Birmingham and all the shops were just opening when we went through, the food places were already open and serving but the other shops opened about 5am, so you will be fine.

Thanks Sarah. I would hate Roy to be hungry until we reach SS. :)

We went through Terminal 2  in Manchester in June and Boots, Smiths, Dixons etc. were all open! That was same flight as you Jules...

Thanks Don. Never sure about the shops as our flights to Corfu have not been this early for years.
