As the day grows nearer, I am getting more and more excited. You all say such wonderful things about Aghios Stefanos.
I can't wait to see for myself.

It sounds so wonderful Tony. It really is the type of place that Malc and I love.
I've always liked Greek villages where the locals are friendly and really are pleased to see you again.
There is a small village in Vassilikos on Zakynthos, which we've been to 4 times and it is the same sort of atmosphere.
Can't wait to get Agios Stefanos.

It's our 1st time as well and I know what you mean. It's always nice to take in a new island.
Last year, we had a taxi transfer,(decided we'd push the boat out as it was our 25th anniversary), great on the way to the hotel but on the way back it came a lot later than the coach and I was really worried that we were going to be left behind. We had no idea who to contact as it had been arranged by Thomsons and the hotel couldn't help. They just kept saying don't worry! We got there a lot later than the coach and had to wait outside in the hot Kos sun. It would be different in Agios Stefanos though as the transfers could be arranged with the local travel agencies.

We're not going until Aug. 19th but so looking forward to it.
We've never been before but chose Teresa's as I liked the look of it on the video and the view is stunning.
Glad to hear you had a great time there as it makes me even more excited to get there.

His user name is Malcolm but he can't remember his password and he hasn't got a secret question
so he couldn't get his password sent to him.

I did Greek lessons for a year and a half at Oxford University evening classes.
Glad I did them but still can't speak fluently. It's such a hard language. The basics are easy enough though and it wouldn't hurt anyone to learn those.
I can read the words but I don't always know what they mean .lol.
I gave up doing them because I was spending my whole day off from work doing my homework and not doing any housework! We began to live in a tip so things had to change. I still listen to my Ipod, which I've got lessons on, every now and again to refresh myself.
I'm so looking forward to visiting Agios Stefanos and meeting all these wonderful people you're all talking about.
This site is great.

Thanks Cerys. Although the Olympic mountains look lovely, we all want to watch San Stefanos.

I'm going for the 1st time this year, Kathryn and I'm really excited about it.
Thanks for sharing your photos with us. It really looks like the sort of place my husband Malc and I will love.
We love friendly, quiet places without all the discos etc.
We're going on August 19th too so we'll just miss you as you're only going for the week this time.
We're staying at Tereza's because I just couldn't get away from the fantastic view there.
Everyone on here is so helpful and friendly and I'm really pleased I found this site.
