Was that the wee place just up from San Stef Travel?

I never tried it out when it was Summer Dreams, but I'll give the new Italian version a go this September!!

Where to stay / Re: Hotel Olga

I stayed there in 2016 and whilst the accommodation was pretty basic it was clean and the bed was changed on a regular basis. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the on site bar situated next to the pool provided tasty snacks and meals. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village so no problems there. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!!

James Bolam played Grandpa in my Pocket but he's better known as Terry from the Likely Lads to us of a certain age!

I hate to say it as I used to enjoy sending them myself, but perhaps the above replies tell you the reasons why no one bothers anymore!!

I don't think the problem is the lack of activity on the board, surely it's just that life in the village is slowing winding down after another summer season?

I'm very much considering another visit to the village a fortnight today for a week, as I'm pig sick of our Scottish "summer"

Could anyone tell me if the bars, restaurants etc will still be open for business and more importantly, what weather should I expect for that week?

Any assistance would be much appreciated!!

Yeah, stayed up in the Voula for a week in May and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I had booked a studio with a pool view but was upgraded to a family room (number 3) with an unbelievable sea view.
I usually try to get over once a year but I enjoyed my May visit so much I might sneak a wee week in September!!!!

I've spent a week in the village during mid-September the past two years. However, I'm off to Turkey for a week late August so I was considering coming over for a week in mid/late May this year. Can anyone advise me if the village will be getting busy by then and what's the usual weather at that time of year?

Cheers
