San Stefanos news and views / Re: Just back with a quick review

Have you checked out Angelos ... there are 6 apts in total with a great swimming pool. Still in the quiet part of the village and the apts have great views and are very clean. The climb up the hill isnt to taxing either. We have had some amazing holidays up there and Angelo's ( who owns Waves ) and his family are very welcoming. If you need any other information just ask or contact Noula

I was lucky enough to read this book whilst staying in Elounda and my balcony actually over looked Spinalonga. Though i must admit i think i would still have enjoyed the book as much if i had been lying in bed at home. Hope you enjoy it too.

we always book with Noula whilst we are there for the following year. We agree our price with Angelo ... although he prefers to leave the bookings with san stefanos travel so he can concentrate on running Waves.
It really is lovely and the apartments are never all taken at that time of year so its usually quiet. Get great views of the sea with some wonderful sunsets. Although up the hill, its not that far up that it hurts ... 5 min walk maximum.

Have a look at Angelos apts, they are lovely inside and the pool is large. The complex has only 6 apts, so the pool never gets crowded. We have been going for 3 weeks every june for the past 4 years now. Noula has them on her website although they owned by the family that have Waves beach bar.

Hi Cheryl, was interested to hear that you had been to Lassi in Kefalonia for the past 5 years as we also had also done that and like you fancied a change. Although we loved Kefalonia once we found this idyllic corner of corfu we have never looked back and next year will be our 10th consecutive year. I hope you grow to love San Stefanos just as much as us. Michele

Have a look at Angelo's apts. Great views of the sea and only 5 mins to the beach. We have stayed there twice now and find them very quiet and peaceful. Big pool been added this year too.

We have just returned from 3 weeks in SS and i cant praise the Mythica enough. What has the edge over the Beachcomer and Ozzy Oils for us was the extensive menu. Can't wait to return next June. The sole there is by far the best we have ever had. I agree it doesnt have the feel of a greek taverna though. It was great to see there first season going so well in such difficult times. It looked that places like Olympia and the Olive Press were struggling on the result of it.

Roll on next monday. All being well cases should be unpacked before 3pm greek time. Can't decide where to eat on first night, if other years are anything to go by it will probably be at Olympia. Think this is gonna be a long week
